What a Week!!

WOW!! Welcome to kindergarten! What a fun and exciting first 3 1/2 days! We were very busy learning about our school, classroom, and our friends.

Here are some of our Monkeys that were jumping on the bed at our kindergarten visitation day!
Meet Coral! She is our school therapy dog that will come to our classrooms to be with the kiddos. She is completely trained and only takes commands from certain people. We are excited for her to visit our classroom this year!

We also found out how to use our lunch room...still a working progress but the kiddos did such an awesome job this week with learning all new things.

We also read about the Gingerbread Man! We made our own boys to have for snack later...but little did we know they would be running away. :-)

They were so excited to see them cooking in the oven.

Our friend Coral found our Gingerbread Men! The kiddos were so excited to have them back so we could eat them for snack :-)

This next week we will be sending home some gingerbread boy friends to stay at your house for the night. Be looking for a letter. Like I said this was a fast, fun, emotional, and exciting week. I am so excited to have all of these wonderful kids in my class. Looking forward to learning and growing with them. Have a great week!

Kara :-)

Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will help make this a wonderful year of growth for you and your child. I have just recently started a new blog, where you will have access to updates in our classroom and everyday reminders. My information is listed below, if you ever have and comments, questions and or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me. This year we also have some nut allergies, so please keep this in mind when purchasing snack items and or treats, these items need to be completely nut free including oils.  I am so excited for this new school year and all the adventures that kindergarten offers.

Looking forward to meeting you all!
