What a fun couple of weeks! We have been busy with assessments for report cards and also doing fun things like math symmetry, pumpkins, and learning about owls with Ms. Pam. We also had the bilingual puppet show, the kids really enjoyed it. Fire safety is something we have also been touching on these past couple of weeks! So important for out kiddos to have an understanding of that.  Sorry for the lack of post, but we can all say with excitement...assessments are DONE! Your kids are rockstars and worked so hard. Next week I can't wait to have lots of fall fun! 

In morning meeting we have been working on team building. Ask for kiddo about our "raw macaroni game" the kids love it!  

Fall is all around , so we had some time for a great fall walk and was able to draw and write about our findings in our science journal and fall journal. We will be sharing some of our writing at conferences.

Apple Fun!

Apple Fun! We had such a fun couple weeks working with apples. We graphed apples, we stacked our names with apples, we made apple sauce and went to the apple orchard. the kids did great during out trip! I was so proud of them, and I really think they enjoyed it. Thank you to our parents that came along and also thank you for the apple donations as well. 

This past week we also finished up our State Mandated FAST assessment test, which is focusing on early reading concepts. Your kiddos worked really hard and I will be sharing the data and scores with you all at conferences. That being said make sure to check your e-mail for our conference information. We are doing it differently this year... electronic! Let me know if you have any questions. We still have time but just wanted to drop a note to remind you! 

We were also very fortunate to have Mr. Schneider come and read to our class today. The kiddos really enjoyed it and got them excited for the day. Thank you for all who brought back their color run money, if you forgot you still have time! Hope you all have a great weekend!
