Keep Calm and Kindergarten On with Mrs. Troyer: Homecoming week!

Hello Everyone! We have had a very busy week in kindergarten. We have been doing fun dress up activities and also really working hard on Jolly Phonics. We have learned a total of 18 sounds!!! Yes that is a lot. That is why I am also reminding you all to help your student become even more successful by having them practice not only the sound but also writing the sounds. It can also be very helpful to also mix up the sounds when you are reviewing. As at times kiddos can tend to just memorize the order and not really understand and know the sounds. We have many more to learn so it is so important for our kiddos to get the ones we have learned down as we move on to new ones!

Be sure to check for Friday folders there are some important notes for you on this upcoming week! I hope yo all have a great weekend and Thank you for your support both in and out of the classroom.

We have also introduced start of the week! Each week a bag of instructions with come for you and your child to complete and share with the class. Every student will get a turn so don't worry if you don't see it for awhile!
