I first want to apologize.... we have had such a fun week and when I went to upload all of our pictures I came to fine out there was a Ipad Malfunction.... and everything is gone! 👀😟 I had taken a few on my phone and some from today... But I am soooo sad about it. Sorry again, but I have let you know everything we have done below with a few pictures. Thank you all for making this week so fun for our kiddos. I am so lucky to have such a fun and loving class. They make loving my job even easier!
Spider Hats- We learned about spiders this week! The kids learned facts about spiders and we made some really cute spider hats! It was great to watch them help each other and work through obstacles that came up while working!
Spider books with ring- We had to do some counting in our spider book and we had to have a spider ring to read and count in our book. The kids thought it was just the coolest to have a spider ring!
Bank/ Dress Up- Wow is was so fun to see everyone all dressed up. The kids had so much fun! We were also able to visit the bank and rotary with our dress up. The kids and all involved had a great time. We even practiced our 5 little pumpkin song and spider song!
Stem Project- Spider Web Creation- I am mainly sad about this....as we had been talking about spiders this week I wanted to do a STEM project. I gave the kiddos pipe cleaners and cotton and tole them to make a spider web... they were at first confused by the lack of direction... but quickly jumped in and had a great time. They were so great to help others and talk out the process in trying to make their spider webs. Wish I could share the pictures but trust me it was so fun to watch!
Puppet show- The University of Iowa Burn Unit came and did a puppet show on fire safety. It was a great reminder for all kids and staff and the kids were engaged in the show and had a good time! It was fun to see them remembering the safety tips.
Movie- WE FILLED THE MARBLE JAR!!! The kids have been working so hard at filling the marble jar and they did it this week! We finished out our fun filled week with a movie.
